The American Farmer has a humble history in this country. What’s freshest is what’s grown closest to you. The struggle against Mother Earth and what she will allow to prosper depends on regions and climate. It’s an amazing story to tell—we will help tell that story through our offerings. Food grown closest is what has formed and influenced delicacies in certain regions of this country. Pizza from Chicago, New Haven, Detroit, St. Louis, California, New York were all developed and made differently because of the ingredients that were available to them, as well as, the ethnicity of the people and their backgrounds, which formed their diverse cooking techniques and style. The Wild Tomato American Kitchen will take you on a food journey across America, exploring these offerings from different regions, celebrating the American farmer and the great agriculture and diversity of food in this country!
